On October 15, the 100th Chinese Export Commodities Fair Opened in Guangzhou. The total fair booths achieve 31,408, of which 6,518 are textile and apparel categories. Exhibitors are 14,001, and the net exhibition area is up to 282,000 square meters.
The Fair specific layout is as follows :
Liuhua Complex: Phase I are textiles & garments, medicines & health products. Textiles & garments categories include garments, home textiles, textile raw materials & fabrics, carpets and tapestries, artex, furs,leathers,downs & relational products, footwear & headgear, totally 6518 booths; And medicines and health categories include medicines, health products & hospital equipment, 452 booths. Phase II 2 are gift products, including gifts, decorations, toys, wickerwork articles, horticultural products, clocks & glasses, office stationery, sports & leisure tourism supplies, totally 6954 booths.
Pazhou Complex: Phase I are industrial products, including appliances, electronics and information products, lighting lamps, tools, machinery & equipment, small vehicles & spare parts, hardware products, building materials, chemicals and minerals, totally 8229 booths; Phase II are daily goods, including household goods, bags, native produce & animal by-products, furniture, ceramics, kitchen utensils and food supplies, food and tea, iron products, totally 8615 booths.
It is estimated that the participants will be as many as 500,000.
