Clothing needs of old people seem to be neglected in Chinese markets, according to a statistics.
The report shows that there are more than 145 billion people who have crossed six decades of their lives and the annual population rate is rising by 3.3 percent.
Presently, consumption value of Chinese old people has reached RMB600 billion and estimated to surpass RMB2000 billion by 2010.
However, the clothing styles and quantity of old people are not much in domestic markets.
Chinese clothing markets of old people need clothing brands for old people.
Experts pointed out that clothing units should pay more attention to domestic old people s clothing markets and promote more designers.
