On the opening ceremony of"20th Anniversary of China Orient Silk City & 2006 China (Wujiang) Investment Fair"the vice-chairman of China Textile Industry Association Xu Kunyuan awarded the plaque of "The base of Fabrics China", which symbolized that Shengze become second base of Fabrics China after Shanghai as well as the only town level base of fabrics in China.
As the most authorized and influential appraising of China fabrics, "Fabrics China"is targeted to accelerate fabric innovation. It has been held for seven years since 1999 with exhibition circles of two times for Spring/Summer and A/W annually.
Until now, Shengze town has owned five national level fabrics bases Huajia, Xiangsheng, Xiangxin, Wenxin. Actually, it has already become the important base of fabrics design & manufacture in China.
