Take 32s pure polyester yarn for example, the price quoted on Qianqing market was 15400-15600 yuan per ton on October 15, below 600 yuan per ton from 15800-16000 yuan per ton of the marketing year's ceiling price, far under the drop of 2300 yuan per ton in polyester staple fiber.
It is expected that the future market for polyester yarn will suffer badly under the double pressures from price drop in material and shrinking trade volume.
