To promote the import of new innovative products and restrict export of high cost, high polluted resource products, Customs Tariff Commission of State Department will adjust tariff of part import & export tariff since Nov.1,2006. 58 items of commodity will be imposed by temporary tariff while 110 items of commodity be imposed extra tariff. Especial seven items of textile machinery accessories that can give hands to technique innovation and saving resource, whose import tariff will be decreased from 1-7% to 0-3%. All of which can play role in improving China textile industry s technology average.
