On November 9, more than 1,300 textile and garment enterprises from home and abroad gathered in Zhengzhou to exchange fabrics, cotton yarn, cotton cloth, home textiles and other related products.
2006 China Zhengzhou International Textile and Garment Fair was opened in Zhengzhou Henan Yuantong Textile City. "This trade fair makes Zhengzhou start upgrading the textile industry." the vice president of China Textile Industry Association Sun Ruizhe said.
In his view, Zhengzhou has established a bridge between the eastern production base and western consumption market, occupying an important position in the industrial layout.
"I believe Zhengzhou s industrial upgrade will help Henan textile achieve a second takeoff." Sun Ruizhe forecasted optimistically.
