General speaking, the statistic from EU & US Custom witnesses a rising export of China restricted textile as well as a low clearance rate of China textile. During January-October, the average clearance for restricted 21 categories textile exported to US is 37.36%, ten categories of textile for EU 46.52%., far from the required 80%. For category, during January-October, among 21 categories textile, the clearance rate of 332 category, 347category, 647category, 847 category(cotton, chemical fiber trousers) reaches or surpassed 50%. Among 10 categories of textile exported to EU, 115 categories (flax, ramie yarn) enjoys highest clearance rate, reaching 75.9%, the one of 5 category, 7 category 55.98%, 54.47%, others less than 50%. Among restricted textile, the finished export to US is 55% of quota, the one to EU 70% of quota.
The statistic from China Custom shows that during January-September, China textile export totaled 105.582billion USD, increased by 24.2%, the fashion export 69.588billion ,increased by 27.6%, textile export 36billion USD, up 18.2%. The one exported to US is increased by 8.55, EU about 13.4% only, down 48% and 61.2% separately.
