From next year, more shoe brands from Southern China i.e. Guangdong province, Shenzhen city and Hongkong will come to Shenyang city.
It is reported that more than 400 Hong Kong shoe units will open franchise shops in JingMa Leather Shoe Materials Business Market in Shenyang.
Shenyang will become the fifth shoe industry base in China. A pair of shoe will cost RMB1498 in Shenyang city while it costs RMB1398 in Guangzhou city. As more shoe brands come out in Shenyang city, local shoe prices will drop.
China is the biggest shoe producer in the world, annual output is around 9 billion pairs of shoes. However, Northeast China occupies 20 percent of market share, and Shenyang is the centre of shoe industry of Northeast China.
Local trade volume occupies around 65 percent of the market share in Northeast China.
