It is learned from State Environmental Protection Administration that at present, China has 21,000 kinds of products which have been certified by the China Environmental Label. After more than 10 years of development, China has gradually established the overall framework of environmental label standard.
During over 10 years, State Environmental Protection Administration of China has promulgated more than 70 environmental-label products technical requirements, within the existing are 56, including requirements for consumer s health in ecological textiles, children s toys, shoes and other products. It is known that Chinese enterprises who want to obtain environmental certification marks must meet certification system established in accordance with ISO14020 international environmental standard.
