It is analyzed that The declining of cotton price is attributed to the decreasing cotton price in international market that leads to increased cotton import stroke inland cotton market greatly. Since March, cotton price in international market was falling continually, till to lower RMB1500 than inland cotton price.
Besides, both the high yield of cotton in China and global and the declined cotton in international market is answerable to the narrow falling of Xinjiang cotton price that is steady enough to meet market demand though it is lower than last year.
Until to Oct.15, the average cotton price in Xinjiang is 4.9Yuan/Kilomgram, down 0.30Yuan/Kilomgram; the lint price is 12500Yuan instead of 13500Yuan for September.
