1. Cotton output is expected to reach new summit
Until now, cotton picking is finished. The updated statistic shows that the output of cotton is anticipated to be 0.6.7million ton, increased by 380000ton than 2004, more 2million tons than last year, up by 17.5%.
2. Cotton purchasing is accelerated while the price is ascending
The data shows that until the end of November, purchased lint totaled 4.42ton, increased by 13%, accounting for 66% of total cotton output; Xinjiang new purchased cotton totaled 1.48million ton, accounting for 64%, while the one of Shandong, Hebei, Henan and Jiangsu is less than 70% of output. The average price of inland standard seed cotton reached about 2.6Yuan/Kilomgram, more 0.1Yuan than last month.
3. cotton price keeps stable
Influenced by increasing seed cotton price, the new cotton price in Nov. keeps stable. After ascending in the first ten days , China cotton price totaled 12622Yuan/ton in Nov.11, 12730 ton in Nov.30, increased by 108Yuan/ton, at rate of 0.86%. The average price of November reached 12651Yuan, down 287Yuan/ton, at rate of 2.2%. Until the end of Nov., Xinjiang purchased cotton totaled 11.2069tons, the distribution value 0.1642tons, accounting for 13.6%.
4. The import of cotton rise again
After falling for six month, cotton import rose again in Nov., but sill less than the same period of last year. In Nov.2006, China cotton import totaled 0.155tons, increased by 53.15%. The cotton import for 2006 totaled 0.3743ton, down 49.14% than the same period of last year.

1. the spinning capacity ascend again
On Nov.2006, the spinning capacity of big-scale enterprise totaled 1.57million, increased by 0.0443million ton than last month, at rate of 2.9%, 15.1% than the same period of last year. During January-Nov.,2006, China spinning output totaled 15.53million tons, up by 20.2% than the same period of last year. The spinning output for 2006 totaled 4.68million tons, up by 22.5%.
2. the export of textile & garment increase
On Nov,2006, China textile & garment export is increased. For Nov., China textile & garment export totaled 12.72billion USD, up by 2.9% than last month, increased by 30.67% than the same period of last year. The export of garment and accessory totaled 8.506billion USD, up 27.3%. During January-Nov.,2006, China textile & garment export totaled 130.646billion USD, increased by 24.66%. The export of spinning, fabric totaled 44.361billion USD, up 18.17%, garment & accessory totaled 86.283billion, increased by 28.28%.
