The first textile quota public bidding for 2007 has been finished. Recently, the statistic from Textile Export Bidding Committee shows that 557 Jiangsu enterprises win the tenders, accounting for 14% of total bid.
In September, 2006, China Commerce of Ministry promulgated the bidding announcement to conduct public bidding of 13 categories of textile exported to US, EU. Until now, it is learned that the bidders reached 3592 enterprises, including 557 one from Jiangsu, accounting for 16% winning 14% quota. For product category, Jiangsu enterprise win 14% quota for six categories for EU, 16% one for seven categories for US. Wuxi Jiafang Co., Suntian Stock Holding Co., Ltd, Nanjing Jingdao Co., Wuxi Chuangjing Co., Huihong Knitting Co., Nanjing Textile Co.,Suhao Stock Holding Co., AB Group, Nantong Jingfeida Co., etc won the most quotas for each category. For example, Suntian Stock Holding Co.,Ltd won the quota for 1317697 pieces of cotton trousers exported to EU.
