Pirating and counterfeiting apparel brands is a stigma on the moral fibre of Chinese garment industry.
During a recent meeting held between Peter Mandelson, European Commissioner For Trade, European Commission and BoXilai, Commerce Minister, China at the 21st meet of Sino-European Economy trade, the former urged Chinese Government to take measures to beat pirating and counterfeiting actions, which aim at Europe’s famous brands of clothing and other commodities.
It is reported that the major subject which was discussed is cancellation of limit of foreign investment, enhance the protection of intellectual property, geographical signs and so on.
