A gold jewellery design competition held in Beijing on March 28, 2007 was a visual treat for spectators as models wore all the accessories created by designers.
Chinese designer Zhu Fei designed a pair of gold glasses, which weigh 113.33 grams. A pair of gold earrings made of 247.54 grams gold was designed by He Weihong.
Designer Zhang Yuhua created a gold cuff of 472.26 grams was shown in the competition.
Gold demand in China is very high and it was barely affected last year though the country saw rise in price last year.
