For days, people of China Chamber of Commerce of Import and Export of Textiles, China National Textile Industry Council and China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment express their welcome and support for the active and constructive negotiation result.

The Commerce of Import and Export of Textiles said that the agreement embodied that Chinese Government's determination to protect interest of Chinese textile enterprises, and sincere intention to negotiate and solve the trade friction, which are beneficial for creating an active, stable and foreseeable trade environment for Chinese and EU enterprises and promoting orderly increase of Chinese textile product export to EU.

It sets a good example under a new situation to solve textile trade friction, namely, "strengthen understanding through dialogues and solve the problems through negotiation", which is significant for global textile and garments to transit to new trade pattern.

The Chamber of Commerce of Textiles appreciated the active attitude of EU to solve China-EU textiles trade, and hope EU will keep forward on the road of free trade of textile product.

The Chamber of Commerce of Textiles believed that textile trade was a significant part of China-EU bilateral trade; the two sides should think highly of the overall situation and grasp the opportunity to actively promote stable and sound development of textile trade based on mutual benefit. Chinese enterprises should optimize industry structure constantly, upgrade international competition, strengthen self-discipline to avoid trade friction emerging and even upgrading, and strengthen cooperation with EU enterprises.

It made a breakthrough in growth rate and cardinal number, which was a foreseeable prospect for Chinese export to EU before the end of 2007, enabled trade environment of Chinese enterprises to be stable.

Moreover, China and EU improve trade relations through negotiation, which is better than US take "one-side action" to restrict and provide successful experiences and impose pressure for US to deal with China-US textile trade.

Sun Huaibin hoped that Chinese enterprises should fully understand that textiles integration was not absolute liberalization before 2008, it would be restricted by some conditions to some degree. Therefore, export of textile enterprise should keep a reasonable and normal step, and endeavor to set up integration of international textiles trade.
