It is learned from the news conference yesterday, ‘2007 China-Russia Footwear Trade Fair' will be held during 21 to 22 this month in Chinese Women's Shoes Capital, Chengdu City.
This will be the first high standard, professional trade fair between China and Russia, after Russia promulgated ‘Commercial Ban’ on Chinese products.
According to reports, Chengdu City has more than 1,700 footwear manufacturers, of which over 90 percent enterprises export their products to Russia.
The local government has invited over 30 senior graduate students from the Russian Language Department of Sichuan University to ensure the effectiveness of the Trade Fair. They will provide ‘one-to-one’ service to Russian buyers.
