Fashionable clothing derived from Tang apparels have become the first-choice of beautiful young women in Xi'an. Many of them dress themselves in bright, colorful and lively Tang-style water-lily trousers and lotus-sleeves tights with peony blossoms printed against umber red, cerulean blue or brownish yellow grounds, like pipa (a plucked string instrument) artists in Tang palaces.
Xi'an, known as "ancient capital of 13 dynasties," has a profound cultural background. In many hotels and restaurants there, waitresses appear before consumers in special uniforms featuring Tang culture, indicating that Xi'an's rich source of Tang culture can be found everywhere. The Tang style cuisine embodying essence of traditional Chinese culture is becoming more and more popular.
At present, Shaanxi has developed over 80 Tang style dishes which are not only in line with the requirement of modern science and diet fashion in terms of appearance, taste and nutrition, but also fully stress the style and charm of Tang culture.
Xi'an residents with their friends and family members, young and old, went to the lately completed Tang Lotus Park to appreciate the beautiful scenes there. This park is also China's first large-scale imperial-style culture theme park that revitalizes the glory of the Tang Dynasty. Twelve theme gardens and nearly 70 scenic spots vividly depict the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.
