During February 2007, apparel and garment sector showed an upward trend of sale. Marketplaces in China sold a total of 391,400 pieces of jeans clothes, showed a year-on-year rise of 56.33 percent.
In the women clothing sector, a total of 9.12 million pieces were sold, 51.59 percent more than the same period of last year.
The children clothing segment, showed 86.43 percent rise with a total sale of 2.758 million pieces.
In trousers section, a total of 1.497 million pieces were sold with a rise rate of 40.78 percent.
Few companies that dominated the market are Boton brand for jeans clothing, Iglay company for woman’s dresses, Shuihaier brand in the children clothing segment and Jiumuwang brand for the trousers section.
