92% exhibitors reap good harvest at CTFE2007

China (Shanghai) International Textiles Fabrics & Accessories Exhibition 2007 (CTFE2007) was concluded on June 28th in Shanghai New International Expo Center. It’s the sixth time for holding CTFE in Shanghai, this Exhibition’s scale is up to 16,000 square meters, and nearly 700 exhibitors participated in the CTFE2007.
Professional audience were over 32,000; foreign audience which accounted for 30% of them, came from nearly 30 countries such as Japan, South Korea, the United States, Middle East countries, EU member countries and Africa.
According to the exhibitor’s questionnaire from organizing committee, more than 90% of exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the on-site services and quality of the audience in this Exhibition. The direct or indirect turnover of intent orders and agreement was nearly CNY 350 million.
CTFE2007 have hit a new high in the area of attendance or turnover. This is a veritable textile event with a complete and a wide variety of textile fabric, it would not only allow buyers from home and abroad to find the products they needed, but also let our exhibitors get practical and obvious Exhibition effects.
This Exhibition gathered thousands of products, fabric enterprises concentrated show attracted professional purchasing groups from Korea, Japan, the United States, Italy, France, African countries, Middle East countries, Hong Kong, China / Taiwan to visit and negotiate business. 92% of exhibitors at this show had agood harvest, who gave highly evaluation and were willing to continue participating the expo next year.
Compared with the previous CTFE, the CTFE2007 has made the following major improvements:
1, Specialization:
Among all the exhibitors, 90% are professional exhibitors who engaged in fabric and accessory business, in which 35% are the fabric enterprises who produce high grade, extractive commodities and own well-known brands, more than the percentage of 15% in previous years. It is a breakthrough and also lays a good foundation of Exhibition’s bright prospects.
1) The production and sales of the fabric corporation are subject to the modern trend’s restriction, they must closely follow the trend of the era; otherwise, they will be washed out. This Exhibition provided more fashion choices for the majority of textile and garment companies by attracting fashion fabrics exhibitors.
2) The supply of fabric is based on the theme of public consumption, but top-grade consumption has a certain share of the market too. This Exhibition also demonstrated this feature. In CTFE2007, enterprises displayed top-grade products, which accounted for 16% in the total fabric products on display; this ratio has been increasing year after year.
3) In CTFE2007, new material and nature-friendly material suddenly rose as a new force, which opened a new road for the traditional fabric enterprises. The materials market gradually expand and develop, the indicator function of the Exhibition industry will have a full display.

4) On the basis of steady orders and transaction, factories and enterprises have a long-term cooperation idea. In the Expo, enterprises can invite customers to negotiate on the scene, and see their new products and technologies, in order to further consolidate the relationship between manufacturers and customers.
2, Exhibition’s overall decoration: Compared with the previous Exhibitions, CTFE2007 impressed the audience most with its beautifully decorated booths when they came to the Expo. A professional Exhibitioner said that an Exhibition should include one-third of art, one-third of commercial, one-third of the image.
Now many enterprises have recognized this point. Some of them said, in the Exhibition we are not only willing to get orders, but also to make our booth decorated well. Beautiful booth design can reflect the company image and publicize them further, this is the real display.
This idea also shows that exhibitors are changing their thinking, from exhibiting simply for orders to enhancing the company image, we CTFE2007 do our best to meet the needs of exhibitors, set up specially-equipped booths in Area A. 3, Characteristics: China (Shanghai) International Textiles Fabrics & Accessories Exhibition 2007 (CTFE2007) was supported by the Ministry of Commerce, their support ensured the credibility and the quality of the Exhibition, and guaranteed the Exhibition ’s future development. It is featured in its specialty, credibility, and its service to all the exhibitors.
The specialty of the exhibitors, audience, organization, and the team bring up a professional Exhibition, and reflect its professional characteristics. In the circumstance that textile Exhibition has been organized throughout the country, we also focus on specialty, not only to ensure the actual results of the Exhibition, but also try our best to make the CTFE different from other shows, the most unique one in China Textile Industry Exhibition.
4, Internationalization: Internationalization is the only practical way for Exhibition industry, and also one of the important characteristics of textile industry shows. Five years of unremitting international development of CTFE textile Exhibition makes overseas audience reach 35% of the total audience in this Exhibition.
They came from nearly 30 countries, such as Japan, Korea, the United States, Middle East countries and the EU member countries, and Africa, etc. This provided a shortcut toward overseas development to exhibitors. Yet, expand more overseas market, gain the international popularity. 35% of the overseas audience is one of the achievements in this Exhibition that make us proud of ourselves.
5, Efficient atmosphere for bargaining: CTFE2007 invited audience with demanding profession, in order to ensure the exhibitors’ efficient display. Exhibitors and visitors felt that this Exhibition was not as busy and crowded as other fabric Exhibitions, but remained in a peaceful circumstance.
At the beginning, some exhibitors hesitated or even doubted the effect of this Exhibition, but later on, their concern was beaten by professional business issues. Actually, the organizing committee took personalized consideration of the exhibitors.
The receptionists strictly controlled the quality of the audience, only the professional audience will be allowed to come. As a result, this Exhibition provided a good space for the exhibitors to negotiate business. Because the organizing committee knew deeply that the success of the Exhibition does not lie with the number of the visitors, but the actual effect that the exhibitors received.
