SHARE prices closed off their highs yesterday as investors locked in profits amid talk that more hedge funds may suffer in the fallout from the US subprime mortgage sector.
Jackson Wong, investment manager at Tanrich Securities said the bourse continues to be affected by volatility on global markets and uncertainty over credit conditions. The index closed up 133.72 points at 21,729.35. - AFP
