An eight-member Pakistan textile delegation, organized by the Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA), paid a visit to Chinese textile enterprises.
According to PTEA Chairman, the delegation aims to enlarge export of Pakistan textiles in China. Much to their satisfaction, many Chinese textile enterprises have expressed their willingness to cooperate with the Pakistani delegation.
The visiting group will also explore price and quality of Chinese textile machines because most tatting machines used in Pakistan are very expensive. If the quality and prices of the Chinese machines meet their requirements, the delegation might place orders for the same.
The group is also slated to meet members of Shanghai Textile Industrial Association, textile importers of Ningbo city as well as some textile machine manufacturers.
The Pakistan delegation also participated in the ‘2007 Shanghai Home Textile Fair’, where they exhibited their textile products. This would pave a way for Pakistan textiles to enter Chinese markets.
