The government has directed the concerned authorities to hold meetings with the representatives Textile industry and make all out efforts to resolve their problems, sources told Online Wednesday.
Secretary Textile Board Masood Aalam Rizvi also held a meeting with the representatives of Textile Industry last week in that connection. He sought details about the problems of textile industry and assured to take steps to provide all possible facilities to them.
It is pertinent to mention here that Bangladesh has recently announced special incentives for boosting textile industry and Pakistani textile industrialists and exporters are planning to establish textile industrial units in Bangladesh on large scale.
A delegation of Pakistani textile industrialists and exporters visited Bangladesh last month and held meeting with Bangladeshi authorities to avail this opportunity.
They also reviewed the incentives and benefits being given under the special package announced by Bangladeshi government to attract foreign investment in textile industry.
