China: Exports to Columbia Include Woven Fabric & Chemical Fiber Fabric

According to latest statistics from DANE released the exports of China to Columbia results in the first 10 months in 2005.

It stated that in the first 10 months in 2005, China totally exported 503,949,172.00 kilograms goods to Mexico with a value of US$1.15635618 billion on FOB basis, up by 56.3% compared with the same period of last year which was US$739.703402 million and ranking No 3 among import resources of Columbia only behind the USA and Mexico which were US$6.7775 billion and US$1.3023 billion respectively.

Imports of Columbia from Brazil and Venezuela were US$1.043589888 billion and US$919.768388 million respectively, ranking No 4 and 5.

Statistics from DANE showed that there were nearly 1871 Chinese export commodities under the tariff schedule with the export value of more than US$10 thousand, 180 of them used out the import quotas and proportion of value to total imports of Columbia was small.

There were 165 such commodities under the tariff schedule with an export value of over US$1 million and 11 with an export value of over US$10 million, which were color woven fabric and chemical fiber mixed woven fabric listed under tariff No 52114200000 with a value of US$10.7952 million, other rubber and plastic boots under tariff No 6402990000 with a value of US$18.5207 million, Portable ADP under tariff No 8471300000 with a value of US$41.9717 million, LCD border under tariff No 8471601090 with a value of US$16.0978 million.

Other input and output units of computers under tariff No. 8471609000 with a value of US$19.3612 million, telecommunication equipment under tariff No 8517500000 with a value of US$25.4182 million.
