Two prominent fashion events, The Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/ Winter and World Boutique, Hong Kong, are going to offer everyone a new start with a myriad of business opportunities and fashion ideas.
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the duo will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, from January 14-17, 2008. The two fairs together attracted more than 1,740 exhibitors to showcase the latest fashion trends.
In its 39th edition, Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/ Winter will showcase clothing, fashion and clothing accessories, as well as garment-related products of more than 1,500 exhibitors from all over the world.
Introduced last year, the Emporium de Mode, Infant & Children’s Wear Zone and Spice Arena will return. Emporium de Mode is a unique premium section dedicated to presenting stylish and distinctive garments in an elegant setting.
Infant & Children’s Wear Zone will continue to provide choice for this growing market, while the Spice Arena will put the spotlight on fashion accessories including hats, shoes, scarves and handbags.
In addition, well-established zones will be staged again: Fashion Gallery, for design-driven collections, and Garment & Accessories Mart, for volume merchandise, as well as Body & Intimate Wear Zone and Bridal & Evening Wear Zone, offering quality choice for special occasions.
Concurrently, the 6th edition of World Boutique, Hong Kong will gather together 240 exhibitors. This is a unique event dedicated to promoting designers’ collections and brands from around the world to buyers looking for distinguished labels to give their business a luxurious image and a competitive edge.
