The new products of Asian Textile Mills would be well received and likely to earn good foreign exchange, said Minister for Commerce Altaf Hossain Chowdhury at the occasion the launching ceremony of the new line of products of Asian Textile Mills Ltd.
Asian Textile Mills was fulfilling the local demand as well as exporting goods at huge volumes. He assured of the continued support from the government.
The ceremony was presided over by Chairman of the Mills Harun-Ur- Rashid.
It was addressed by Vice Chairman of Export Promotion Bureau Mir Shahabuddin Mohammad, Vice President of FBCCI Dewan Sultan Ahmed and former Director of FBCCI Matlub Ahmad.
Harun-Ur- Rashid said his company has exported goods worth Tk 30 crore in 2005. In the year 2006 the expectation is to increase it to Tk 50 crore.
