This year, Wenzhou city’s enterprises began shifting their production base to Wuhan city, Hubei Province. The estimated investment in this regard will be more than ten billion yuan.
According to the new policy, Chinese Government is encouraging manufacturing industries located in the eastern part of China to shift their bases to the Central and Western region. Wuhan city being one of the old industrial bases in China, has lots of skilled workers, besides, it also has latest research centers. These qualities have made this region hot spot for investment for many companies.
At present, the projects which have been shifted include a leather processing base with an investment of one billion yuan.
