HANOI: In order to cop with increasing input cost, furious competition in the domestic market due to reduction in import tax rates to 0-5% and US export quotas levies, Vinatex are concentrating on building trademarks to increase the value of its products, sources said here on January 10.

Further added, that the group will develop 10 to 20 national brands along with Vinatex trademarks, out of which some will be advertised abroad and are also in process to buy copyrights and work with foreign partners to produce two to four foreign brand names to sell locally.

The group will also establish industrial fashion design and business centres in HCM City and Hanoi and expand the retailing system in Vietnam and abroad with the Vinatex trademark.
