On Feb. 23-25, 2008, 90th China Knitwear Cotton Trade Fair (CKCF), organized by China Textile Commerce Association (Beijing) Fair Service Co., Ltd., was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center. Originated from 1950’s while in planned economical times, CKCF contributed a lot to meet civil basic demands. Nowadays CKCF has become a stable platform for domestic new products.
In nearly 50,000 sqm CKCF assembles over 90% domestic front-line brands and 30,000 trade buyers, which consolidates CKCF the domination status in China’s textile industry. Countless front line brands was gestated by CKCF, including Yi’ershuang, Tinsino, Ngggn, Nowell, Maoren, Luolai, Fuanna, Mendale, etc.
As the biggest and most influential trade fair for home textile and underwear in China, CKCF witnessed the development of China’s kitting brands. For knitting and textile companies, CKCF is a springboard to build self-owned brands and distribute markets. And it has provided a strong driving force for the development of apparel industry.
