Brazil: Shoe Sector Signs Agreement with Tunisian Counterpart

Shoe traders from Tunisia and producers of raw materials from Brazil signed an agreement this month for the development of this sector.

With the supply of Brazilian inputs to the Tunisians as chief purpose of this agreement, both countreis expect commercial ties between business groups from both sides.

The two countries will also share knowledge regarding the sector.

The agreement was signed between the Brazilian Association of Shoe and Leather Components Industries (Assintecal) and the National Federation of Leather and Shoes of the Arab country (FNCC).

According to the Assintecal, the agreement foresees exchange of information between businessmen from both countries, the promotion of opportunities for partnerships, assistance to the partner in other country, especially during fairs and seminars, as well as the promotion of visits, meetings and research.
