QIAODAN Cup China Sports Wear Design Contest Conference, “Wensli Cup” Ladies’ Wear Design Contest Press Conference, HONGSHANSHU Press Conference & Reception, Asahi KASEI Chinese Innovative Fashion Design Contest Press Conference, “Co-Prosperity & Girmes” Press Conference, Fashion Shishi—City of Casual Wear Press Conference, 2008 China (Qingdao) Fashion Week Press Conference and “JeansWest Cup” Casual Wear Contest Press Conference.
Ready-to-wear trends lecture, which gathered many professionals, is the fixed contents in China Fashion Week. In this fashion week, NellyRodi/Trendlab SAS brought us the research and trends of international ready-to-wear S/S 2009. More and more professional personages took interest in this lecture which successively held five times in fashion week.
Part four: Professional Evaluation---Famous Designers and Fashion Institutes Ranking (FD,FE Index)
FD index means Annual China Top Ten Fashion Designer Ranking and FE index means Annual China Fashion Institutes Design Major Ranking. Through ranking of FD index in 2007, we can find that fashion designer Zhang Zhaoda with high score 650 gained the first place, fashion designer Ji Wenbo up to the second place and fashion designer Zeng Fengfei up to the third place, however, fashion designer Fang Ying, decline to the fourth place, fashion designer Liang Zi who gained “China Gold Award” in 2007, up to the fifth place, fashion designer Qi Gang, up to the sixth place, fashion designer Wang Yutao, up to the eighth place, fashion designer Luo Zheng, for absence of China Fashion Week, decline to the seventh place, the same with fashion designer Zhang Jicheng, fashion designer Wu Xuewei and Wu Xuekai decline a little to the ninth and tenth place separately.
The eleventh place to twentieth in 2007 changed a little, only Cabbeen greatly up from the twenty-seventh place to the eightieth place and from the twenty-sixth place, there is no more change.
FD index as the reference for famous fashion designers proves Red Queen Principle again, and that is: maybe no immediate reward hard work, but no work must be no reward.
From FE index in 2007, we can find there is no change for China fashion institutes design major from ranking one to ten. The first eight fashion institutes are college of Garment, Wuhan University of Science and Engineering, Fashion School, Zhejing Sci-Tech University ,Beijing University of Clothing Technology, School of Fashion, Dalian Polytechnic University, Academy of Art and Design, Tsinghua University, Fashion Institute of Design, Donghua University, Sichuan Fine Arts Institutes, School of Arts, Soochow University, China Academy of Art and Art and Engineering College, Xi’an University of Engineering Science and Technology gained the ninth .
