Since his 1997 debut, this Mainland China based designer continues to design and produce men's wear, now retailing at over 300 outlets throughout the mainland. Cabbeen has its humble roots in t-shirt, jeans and casual design and has over the past 3 years grown to include all sorts of urban and casual wear to meet demands from an ever increasing number of new and loyal customers.
The company president, Mr.Cabbeen says its collection of shirts,suits,jeans,blazers and coats are designed for a guy who has his own look and style but with an eye for the newest trends.With a fair few prestigious Asian industry awards under his belt, Cabbeen has evolved into a nationally respected Chinese talent with his own set of rules and values. From staging fashion shows built from shipping crates to taking inspiration from his eclectic tracels around Asia and Europe, he likes to challenge the status quo of how the world sees China,reflecting in his talent to be the first mainland chinese designer to show at New York Fashion Week in 2007."The chinese are often viewed as womewhat stiff and conservative," he explains, "and I'm always trying to relax that idea and produce collections that don't try too hard, its not revolutionary,just an easy-to-wear,easy-to-mix silhouette".
