It has been a month since the third edition of Prime Source Forum (PSF) came to a close.
Over 400 senior executives from 20 countries, representing all sectors of the global supply chain, attended the two-day Forum and workshops, and discussed major issues facing their industry.
Dr. William Fung, Group Managing Director of Li & Fung set the scene with a keynote speech that offered an overview of the industry and in the future.
Deputy Secretary General of the WTO, Rufus Yerxa, opened the second day with a guardedly optimistic view of the discussions underway at that very moment in Geneva on the Doha Round.
On 31 March, senior executives of five companies spoke at the Workshops, attracting the attendance of another 157 delegates. If you would like to know who attended the Workshops and two-day Forum.
We received a positive response from delegates. Many thanks to our Endorsing and Supporting Associations, Industry Advisors, Sponsors and Media Partners and last, but not least, to all the speakers who spent enormous time and effort in preparing the two-day discussions.
The Forum is regarded as one of the most significant assemblies where competitors, suppliers and customers meet, allowing them to exchange ideas on issues of mutual interest.
The fourth edition is scheduled to take place again in Hong Kong from 31 March to 2 April 2009. Mark the dates in your diary now.
I know that some of you have already asked about sponsorship opportunities available for the 2009 Forum; rest assured that we will keep you informed by the end of May/early June.
Thank you once again for your support of the 2008 Forum; I will talk to you again in three weeks.
