Recently, China Silk Town, Hangzhou city, was named one of the ‘Top 50 textile and clothes wholesales markets of China’.
This is just another feather in the cap for the Town which has already won the titles of ‘China Special Trade Street’ and ‘National Reliable Famous Market’.
China Silk Town, the only all-silk wholesales market in China, was set up in 1987, covering 25000 square meters.
Currently, it has over 600 silk enterprises, dealing with all kinds of real silk fabric, clothes, crafts, raw materials and so on. These products are not only sold in China but also exported to countries and regions like EU, US, Hong Kong and South Asia.
