The Baby's Wear Criterion, released by National Development and Reform Commission of China, will put into practice on October 1st this year. This is the first national eco-friendly clothing standard for baby between 0-2 years old. Considering the soft skin of babies, the pH value set to between 4.0-7.5, compared to 4.0-9.0 of the adult clothing. Besides, the label of baby clothing should write "no dry wash", because the dry cleaning agent may have some substance bad to baby's skin.
The Criterion prescribe the terms and descriptions of baby's wear, as well as the specification, requirments, testing method, inspection, category, label, pacakge, transport and stock.
According to the National Primary Security and Technology Criterion of Textile, the baby's wear is classified as Product A, for which there are more strict requirments in color fastness, ph value, formaldehyde, dye stuff, as so on.
