Fabric China-National Industry Base
Led by China National Textile and Apparel Council, “Fabrics China” Project is a strategic deployment on improving fabric development within the Chinese textile industry. The project aims to guide and promote product development inside the Chinese textile industry through product research, quality inspection and brand updating.
Fabrics China-National Industry Base on Textiles Research & Development has a strategic importance on fabric development inside the Chinese textile industry. Led by China National Textile and Apparel Council and sponsored by China Textiles Development Center, it is a joint project from leading enterprises, Donghua University and other research institutions within the Chinese textile industry. Taking the advantages in trading, finance, talents, information and transportation offered by Shanghai, it is developing to become the most important textiles trading, R&D, design and information center in China. Anchor: Good Morning, welcome to the 10th Jiangsu International Apparel Festival China Apparel live program. This is FCNB marketing director Duan Yanhong. So it is the last day of festival, what is your opinion about the activities? Miss Duan: Hello, I’m Duan Yanhong. I think our company will become a very important service platform for textile & Apparel Industry. The forum activities are very good, we discuss current market situation, future trend and that is very helpful. Anchor: Could you introduce the Fabric China-National Base for us? And what kind services provided?
Miss Duan: We always pursue fashion despite of fabric, design or apparel. Our project will establish the base of China fashion. First, we located in Shanghai which is international city, but also the center of fashion. On the other hand, project was set up by China National Textile and Apparel Council. After we complete, it will combine many domestic and international fashion agencies to build platform and lead the fashion of apparel industry. We aim to textile and apparel enterprises, provide design, R&D, trade and logistics services to them. We also provide a good collaboration and platform, then keep the enterprises have a rapid response for market change. Anchor: What kind of business can enter in FCNB? Miss Duan: As long as it is the goodwill enterprises in textile and garment industy can apply to our park. Only outstanding large enterprises together, we can be the nation’s leading fashion landmark. I believe that we will take trade activities or other ways, let middle or small size enterprises participate in our project and help them to develop and growth. Anchor: Talking about the training of talents, FCNB also provide training service. How about the training system? And what kinds of training program you have? Miss Duan: We divided into two parts: one is company requirements, we training the undergraduate students. When they graduated, they can work for company directly. Other part is train the company’s staff includes: designers and managers. Our training program involves design, fabric, R&D, management and marketing. Anchor: Could you talk more about FCNB? How about its construction? Miss Duan: FCNB total construction area about 300,000 square meters: corporate office and public services place. The region of corporate office, we have 30 blocks office building to meet different requirements of enterprises. The design is very comfortable like a garden. In such an environment, especially for designers who will inspire many new ideas. Currently, the first part has been completed, 16 six-storey business building and three ten-storey building. Anchor: Compare with other kinds of apparel base, what is the advantage of this project? Miss Duan: Our project has geographical advantages, industry service advantages and supporting industries advantages. All of these advantages together, we are the No.1.
