Ms. Yubin, Chairman of Jiangsu Apparel Federation was interviewed by China Apparel Net at the 10th Jiangsu Apparel Festival.
Emcee: What is your impression on the 10th Jiangsu Apparel Festival?
Ms. Yu: This is the 10th festival since1999.Much better than before in promoting JInagsu Brand development.
Emcee: What activities did you hold at the festival?
Ms. Yu: Night party,fashion show,forum,lecture and other relative activities.
Emcee: I noticed some brands from Guangzhou such as sedate,midi held fashion show at the festival.Why do you invite brands from other province to attend Jiangsu Apparel Festival?
Emcee: I think it is also a promotion opportuntity for those brands which want to enter into Jiangsu market.Jiangsu is a good consumption market.The apparel purchasing power is great.
Emcee: I noticed some industry cluster appeared in the festival.
Ms. Yu: It is benefitial for those developing enterprises.Changzhou leisure wear,Nantong hometextile and Wujiang silk are all very famous.
Emcee: What do you think of the slogan "Brand Jiangsu,fashion Jiangsu"?
Ms. Yu: That is what we pursuit for the ten years.And we did.
Emcee: Do you have any policies to encourage those OEM enterprises?
Ms. YU: It is a learning process to build their own brands.
Emcee: What do you think the Festival put any good effect on new brands?
Ms. Yu: It benefits a lot to those developing brands,such as Venivici.
Emcee: What made most deep impression on you about the 10-year festivals?
Ms. Yu:We fostered a lot famous brands through the platform,such as world brands Sunshine and Boseden and other China famous brands.
Emcee: Would you invite more international brands to attend Jiangsu Apparel Festival in the future?
Ms.Yu: Yes,We will.We will intercourse with more international brands and institutions.
Emcee: Why do you think Jiangsu Apparel Festival sre successful for so many years?
Ms Yu: Government support. And we have set up good textile and garment base.And we adhere to promotion our brands.
Emcee: Some apparel software companies and design institutes attended the Festival.Is this a festival trend?
Ms. Yu: We hope these relative institutes offer better service for our garment enterprises.
Emcee: What is your expectation to next Festival?
Ms. Yu: I hope more and more people know Jiangsu brands.
Emcee: TTF (Taiwan Textile Federation) attended the Festival.Do you have any plan to attend Taiwan Apparel Fair?
Ms. YU: Last year I attended Taiwan Textile Fair. This October we will attend Taiwan exibition,too. We have cooperated with TTF for many years.
Emcee: Would you make any good suggestion for those enterprises which want to invest in Jiangsu?
Ms Yu:Jiangsu is a good place to invest with good environment.We will offer better service for you.Welcome to Jiangsu!
