FASHION ACCESS - recognised as the most international trade fair in Asia for fashion accessories including handbags, footwear, travelware, leather garments and lifestyle products has attracted exhibitors from more 32 countries and regions displaying an array of the very latest fashion accessories.
95 exhibitors are in the fair for the first time, giving buyers a view of companies they probably have not seen before. Among new exhibitors are 11 companies showing footwear from Italy and 3 from Malaysia and many new brands of travelware and handbags in all shapes and colours.
Let's Go - Footwear!
After a successful participation last March, Abicalcados, the Brazilian Footwear Association decided to expand their pavilion with a total of 12 exhibitors. A new Italian Footwear Pavilion will present 15 Italian companies alongside. A group of footwear manufacturers from Malaysia will also exhibit for the first time. All are here to meet with new buyers eagerly looking for foreign fashion. Fashion Access truly reflects the importance of Hong Kong as a fashion hub for reaching the fast growing Asian consumer markets where the demand for branded fashion products is expanding.
Let's Go - Fashion Avenue and Eco-Fashion Zone!
Fashion Avenue is the landmark for hot new styles and trend-setting brands. 26 companies of high quality footwear, bags and accessories are presenting their new collections for fashion boutiques.
Highlighting the emerging trend for green products is the new Eco-Fashion Zone. It shows through examples from exhibitors, who either make use of recycled or natural and sustainable materials and for some produce according to fair trade practices, that green products can be edgy, fun and fabulous.
Let's Go - Design Zone!
It is a chance for 12 young designers to put their creative ideas and innovative designs to the test and gain exposure to international business.
Let's Go - "The Best of APLF Awards"!
The Best of APLF Awards is an icon for excellence in originality, creativity and innovation in product design and production. Competition will, as usual, be fierce among the exhibitors whose products are selected by a panel of fashion experts on the second day of the fair. Buyers will be able to identify not only winner but also nominees of the Best of APLF Award by the icon posted in their stand.
Let's Go - APLF Trends!
At the Fashion Trends Lounge located just at the entrance of the fair, visitors can identify the Spring-Summer 2009 "must-haves" in shoes, bags and all fashion products, featuring the best picks from the latest collections of exhibitors. APLF's detailed trend forecast for Spring Summer 09 and for Fall-Winter 2009/10 are also presented in exclusivity in the complimentary Fashion Access Guide available at the fair.
