“The Development of New Solvent Recycled Bamboo Fiber Textile Material” program was checked and accepted by expert team, according to Fujian Science & Technology Bureau and Quanzhou Productivity Promotion Center.

Recycled bamboo fiber is produced by chemical process to changing bamboo chips into pulp then staples. Traditioanlly this is a viscose process and followed by environment impact. Then it was not encourged by national industry policy. While the new technology changes the bamboo cellulose into spinning solvent and obtains the bamboo fiber. This process saves time with no pollution. And the product is also better than the old one.

China is known as “the kingdom of bamboo”. The bamboo planted in Fujian accounts for 1/4 of the whole nation. The local government invested 10 million yuan to make such a success in the development of bamboo fiber. This is regarded as another milestone of sustainable development of China textile industry.
