China Trade and Investment Promotion Delegation, headed by the Minister of Commerce, leave for Europe in Feb. 24th. They planed to visit Germany, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom. Based on the 38 agreements signed early, China is going to buy various technology and equipment valued 15 billion yuan.
The delegation comprise by nearly 200 officials and entrepreneurs from Ministry of Commerce, Foreign Affairs, Science and Technolgy, Finance, Industry and Information, and National Development and Reform Committee, as well as relative chambers of commerce, foreign trade associations, and companies. The sectors involved included machinery and electronic equipment, food, textile, mines, medical and light industry.
