CC&DD
This Chinese fast-fashion brand was founded in the Virgin Islands in 1982. It is now fully operated by Chinese designers and manufacturers.
Built on a similar business model to Zara, CC&DD offers a wide range of on-the-pulse fashion collections for word, casual, party and weekendwear.
This season’s key item is the A-line dress updated with graduated geometric prints, Peter-Pan necklines and super-sheer, flowing fabrics.
The classic trench is an important item for transitional seasons, best worn with multi-layers. Single-colour styles are finished with cropped sleeves and princess shoulders.
EvCode
This affordable Chinese brand was established in 1996 and has about 100 stores in the market.
EvCode presents three ranges-basics, street and sports-targeting 18-30 year-olds. Retail ranges from about RMB250 to 400 for a jacket.
Minimalism is the key direction for the entire collection, modernized by sculpted silhouettes and asymmetrical lines.
The cropped pant re-emerges in looser shapes than previous seasons, sitting baggy at the hips and thighs but tapered and rolled at the calves.
