23 textile mills in Qingshanhu, Nanchang are busy to hire workers now. They planed to hire at least 2000 workers this year. According to an official in Qingshanhu government, since the global financial crisis, many international orders moved to mid and west China because a lot of textile mills in coastal regions had suspended production, even closed.
The inland companies like those in Qingshanhu thus get the chances to win new orders from overseas. Then those mills have to hire more workers and prepare for the industry transferring. With good geography locatin, the mills in Nanchang could better benefit from this trend. When winning more transferring orders, those enterprises could not only get out of the impact of export-oriented economy depression soon, but also make a new way for long-term investment-attracting for this region.
