According to Foshan Bureau of Quality and Technology Supervision, the first textile federation standard in Foshan––mercerized cotton knitting T shirt standard was released on March 20th, 2009. This was a leap of traditional economy in this region to unify the production technology standard, and expected to help in the current financial crisis.
Knitting industry is the traditional backbone of Zhangye, Chancheng, of Foshan. Since the establishment of Chancheng Bureau of Quality and Technology Supervision, the local government assembled six mercerized cotton knitting T shirt manufacturers to draft this federation standard.
The release of this standard help for industry re-shuffle and will wash out the laggard companies, then hold back the vicious competition in this industry and improve the independent innovation,finally realizing the industry upgrading.
