On April 8, 2009, leaders from Nantong Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and Rugao Municipal People's Government jointly held the unveiling ceremony and signed the MOU on Promotion of Building Industry Cluster Demonstration Area for Export Garments, indicating the birth of the first supervision and demonstration cluster area of export industry in Nantong.
The establishment of Rugao export garment cluster area will facilitate the improvement of Nantong's export garment products in quality, safety and grade.
