For the first time, the two world-class events, HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer and HKTDC Summer Sourcing Show for Gifts, Houseware & Toys, are being held concurrently from 6-9 July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The offerings of over 1,500 quality exhibitors from around the world represent the region's most vital sourcing opportunity in the fields of fashion, gifts, houseware and toys.
Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer
Now in its 16th edition, this major industry event ranks high in the regional calendar as a top place to source all kinds of apparel and fashion accessories, as well as garment-related products and services.
Shaping Fashion Week to meet your needs, the fair adds Brand Name Gallery and Intimate Wear Zone to its line-up of zones this year. As the name implies, Brand Name Gallery is a prestigious zone exhibiting brand-name garments, including Beside Couture from Lebanon, BRANDY & MELVILLE from Marsan Srl, Italy and Espen Salberg, a renowned Italian designer in Indonesia, to potential buyers. Inside the Intimate Wear Zone, participants will find the latest trends in lingerie and night-wear.
Other specialised sectors include World of Fashion Accessories, Infant & Children's Wear, Bridal & Evening Wear, Fabrics & Yarn, Sewing Supplies, Fashion Gallery, as well as International Fashion Designers' Showcase, which is brimming over with the latest styles from talented designers, including Walter Ma, Cecilia Yau, Peter Lau and Ika from Hong Kong, as well as group of designers from Indonesia and Korea.
Summer Sourcing Show for Gifts, Houseware & Toys
There has never been a better time to source new and attractive, products which will stimulate the market and generate trade. Buyers will find a wellspring of creative products over the next four days at the Summer Sourcing Show. The fair features exhibitors from all corners of the world, including Chinese mainland, Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan and The Hong Kong Exporters' Association.
The sheer variety of products makes it necessary to sectorise by category. New in 2009 is the Designers' Corner, catering to the growing trend for outsourcing creative services. Treasure Island is home to collections of branded, design-driven products. Other established zones returning this year are Advertising Premiums, Gift Ideas, Fun & Play, Home Living, Home Tech, Style & Décor, Dining & Cooking, Costume Jewellery and Ladies' World.
