Sponsored by the municipal Literary Federation, Harbin TV station, Xin Evening News, organized by municipal model association, the first people's fashion festival kicked off in Youyi Palace yesterday to celebrate the 6th anniversary of PRC.
The fashion festival was listed as the key activity by Harbin municipal propaganda department. It expresses the changes of people's living standard and spiritual outlook in terms of apparel and accessory. The festival aims to provide a platform for common people, and show the fashionable urban appearance of Harbin.
There are seven main activities in the festival. Residents could go for the fashion show in Dongli Square and Stalin Park. The festival will end at August 9.(Cindy)
