Recently, several Chinese clothing enterprises and distributors successively purchased the sales rights of the world fashion brands like Aquascutum and Pierre Cardin in China, reported by Reuters. Due to the heavy impact by economic depression, there will be more western fashion brands on sale. China Dongxiang bought the ownership of Italian Kappa brand in 2006, and now the company is seeking new targets in America.

At this point, China Dongxiang is not alone. At present, China Investment Corporation (CIC), once making investment in luxury companies like Louis Vuitton, has also expressed its interest in the purchase of global renowned clothing brands.
