China demands pushed the international price of marten market

On December 2009, fur auction of Copenhagen Fur Center, marten price rose 36% in September, with a total volume of 1.4 million. This auction amounted to 301 million U.S. dollars. In a total of 300 buyers, there are 240 from China. Copenhagen Fur Center official said that the demands for high-grade fur products are in strong growth in China retail market.

Copenhagen Fur Center is the world’s largest fur auction place. It will be held five times each year. The Trade Center has entered in China about 20 years, and established a design studio in cooperation with Tsinghua University which provides training service to China retailers. Recently, Trade Center and several Chinese fur manufacturers sign a strategic cooperation agreement to found Joint Venture Company.
