Kooky Fashions, a Wanganui based fashion apparel and casual wear manufacturing company has decided to slash eight jobs in a bid to save the rest of the 20 jobs.
In a bid to slash costs and face the impact of recession, the company has outsourced the manufacturing of casual wear to a Chinese clothing producing company.
But at the same time it is retaining the work of producing high-end fashion garments in New Zealand itself, which meant those 20 manufacturing jobs were saved.
