Recently, lists of top 100 garment enterprises in 2009 based on sales revenue, total profit and profit margin are released by China National Garment Association.
Sales revenue:
Yongor Group still holds the first place on the sales revenue list. What’s more, Yongor tops this list for 9 consecutive years. The second is Hongdou Group which also ranks second on this list for 8 consecutive years. Heilan Group, Shanshan Group and Bosideng Group share the third, fourth and fifth.
Profit margin:
Analyzing top 100 enterprises on the profit margin list, we can find that most enterprises on this list don’t appear on the other 2 lists. Here profit margin refers to the ratio between total profit and sales revenue. In 2009, Ellassay Group tops this list. Ellassay’s good performance benefits from a large amount of investment of Carlyle Group. In March, 2009, Carlyle Group invested 150 million Yuan into Ellassay Group. The second is Elegant-proposer and the third is Kaiser.
