Recently, Zhejiang Jiaoshihui Socks Co., Ltd was granted the certificate of “licensed manufacturer of eco choice textile products". Then, Zhejiang Jiaoshihui Socks Co., Ltd became the only manufacturer of eco textile choice products in United Nations of World Expo.
The chairman of this company Wu Zhangjiang said that his socks were in consistent with the low carbon life promoted by UN. According to his introduction, his socks were eco functional products without any antimicrobial. They only contained elements of natural herbs. Their production involved 17 processes, among of which, 4 were national invention patents.
Packing of these eco socks differed from other socks, too. Packing of other socks usually involved garbage such as plastic pothooks, plastic bags and plates. However, his socks were drawer-packed without any grab ages mentioned above. After washing and drying, socks could be put back in the drawer, which could be reused.
This eco socks were planed to be sold in July.
